Meet the Creator: KawaiiKiki
Hello! I’m KawaiiKiki!
I’m a 38-year-old creative, Cali born and raised, now living in Utah. I have a deep love for music, film, books, comics, traveling, and storytelling. My universe is all about good vibes and aesthetics. Through my stories, I aim to spark emotions and build a world where readers can appreciate art, beauty, and the powerful connections we form — the ones that help us grow and make life worth living.

🎬 Lights, Camera, Inspiration
Film is a huge source of inspiration for me. I’m always fascinated by plots that make me think, how did they even come up with that? I gravitate toward genres like Action/Adventure, Drama, Romance, Sci-Fi, and Mystery. But it’s not just movies — I also draw inspiration from poetry, books, comics, anime, and the everyday moments that shape our lives.

🛠️ My Creative Process
When I tell a story, I always start with the basics — the classic plot structure. Once I’ve mapped out the key points, I jump into toongether to visually storyboard everything. I focus on how each panel frames the moment, what emotions I want to evoke, and how the dialogue flows. My goal? For the reader to feel like they are the character — or at least deeply relate to their journey. I’ll tweak panels if needed, but I try to take my time upfront so I don’t have to redo too much later.

🚀 First Steps with Toongether
Hitting that “publish” button for the first time? Terrifying. I remember thinking, What am I doing? But then I reminded myself: this is supposed to be fun. Creating is healing. Not everyone will love what you make — but those who do will support you. And you should always be proud of your work. Some of my favorite storytellers on the platform are Wish, RavenCaw, Silent Echo, and PocketPixie.

🔮 What’s Next?
I’ve got a few exciting projects lined up! I’m working on the Unity Comic: Universal Lore – Neon Kintsugi, and continuing my other series: Noir Eclipse, A Love to Save Time, and Ashen Minds. And yes, I’ll finally be diving into season 2 of Crimson Thread Among the Orchids. I’ve got plenty more stories in the vault, but these are my personal favorites — and I invite anyone who loves a good emotional rollercoaster to check them out.
